Sweat Plan for the Week of April 16th

Between getting ready for a Tribe Tour to Montreal and my 2-week vacation in the U.K. coming up next week my planned weekend of training over the 4-days I had off for Easter did not go as planned. In recent weeks my left IT band + ankle have been having some issues again with stiffness and being tight. As much as I wanted to get in 80km total on the bike this week – especially outside because it was so nice – I opted to listen to my body in hopes that a little TLC would mean that these problem spots would work themselves out with a little help from my rolling an stretching.

After this week I’m off on vacation for 2 weeks – England and Scotland – I’m SUPER excited and I know that there will be no shortage of daily steps being accumulated as we explore the U.K.! I’m planning to link up with a few run crews while I am in London and when I return home you’ll see this weekly post get a bit of a refresh as I start to amp up my training for the lululemon Waterfront 10km in mid-June (a PB is the plan) and serious preparation for the Toronto Triathlon Olympic distance takes priority as well.

If you have any Summer race goals feel free to share them below, along with any must sees in England and Scotland!
